Steph Curry and Palm team up for local Bay Area contest

With the NBA regular season set to begin next week, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is helping to organize a contest in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Curry, an investor in Palm, is teaming up with the company for a contest where Warriors fans can travel to 10 of Curry’s favorite spots in the Bay Area. Palm produces small phones that are “designed for life on the go,” according to the company website.

For fans who want to participate in the contest, they must go to one of the spots and take a selfie. They then have to post the selfie to their Twitter or Instagram account and use the hashtag #StephTakesSFContest.

Fans must have both social media accounts be public. For fans who wish to participate, they can visit this page to enter. The contest begins Thursday, and it will end Oct. 24.

If a fan posts a picture of themselves at all 10 spots, then they have 10 entries for the contest and thus a better chance of winning. The grand prize for the contest is an unlocked Palm phone as well as two tickets to a Warriors game at Chase Center.

The grand prize also includes a dinner for two people at International Smoke before the Warriors’ game. The first place winner will also receive a signed Curry jersey.

Some of the spots to visit include Chase Center, the Warriors’ new arena in San Francisco. Other spots are Alcatraz Ferry Station and Oracle Park, where the San Francisco Giants play.

The Warriors will play against the Los Angeles Lakers on the road for their fourth preseason game Wednesday night.
