Brunswick gymnast Jordyn Thomas wins uneven parallel bars, balance beam and all-around title at OHSAA gymnastics state meet

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Brunswick junior Jordyn Thomas walked away decorated with medals and accomplishments Saturday at the OHSAA gymnastics state individual championships.

Thomas, who earned an overall score of 38.325, placed first in the uneven parallel bars, balance beam and all-around competition. She tied for first in the floor exercise, notching her second consecutive season either tying or winning the event. Along with her event victories, Thomas also tied for second place in the vault.

The state tournament and individual competitions were held at Hilliard Bradley High School in Hilliard, Ohio.

Kyra Dossa, a gymnast from Walsh Jesuit, took first place in the vault with a score of 9.675. Lindsay Kern of Brecksville placed second behind Thomas in the uneven parallel bars. Paige Yu from Highland placed second in the all-around and balance beam.
